The dissertation is dedicated to the revelation of the pharmacological properties of extracts from the leaves of hops. The extract of hops has a broad pharmacological activity. Extract from the leaves of hops showed pronounced antiexudative, antialterative, antiproliferative properties in experimental models of acute inflammation. It has analgetic, spasmolytic and average antimicrobial activity. Test extract has an antioxidant effect and stabilizes cell membranes. Extract from the leaves of hops inhibits inflammation in the prostate and adjaсent organs. Extract from the leaves of hops stabilize the hormonal balance of estradiol and testosterone, reduces weight and volume of the prostate. Extract of hops refers to the class of almost harmless substances and has no local irritating action.
