The dissertation is devoted to the study of the causes and mechanisms of post parturient hypoluteolisis development in cows, the determination of morphological changes in the endocrine ( hypophisis, thyroid and adrenal glands) and reproductive (uterus, ovaries) systems in cows having yellow body regression retardation, the detection of changes in the performances of homoeostasis and hormonal status and the development of diagnostic and therapeutic methods at the above pathology, their approbation and introduction into practice. It has been stated that cows with post parturient hypoluteolisis have low content of vitamin A in blood serum (by 51,6 %) and in liver ( by 28,8 %) and a minor deviation from the normal performances of homoeostasis. There appear great morphological and functional changes in the endocrine and reproductive organs that lead to the decrease in their body weight and sizes. The developed methods of the differential diagnosis of post parturient hypoluteolisis in cows and the computer program give the prognosis of the development of post parturient hypoluteolisis in an express-variant.The administration of the preparations kagadin, kaplaestrol and kaplagonin according with the instructions of the program provide the normalization of the performances of homoeostasis, the level of the hormones - progesterone and estradiol, morphofunctional state of endocrine and reproductive organs.Sphere (industry) use: Veterinary Medicine.
