Research object: The dissertation is devoted to the study of the reasons and mechanisms of the development of the decrease in the reproductive abilities of males because of the vitamin A deficiency, to the determination of morphological and functional changes in the endocrine system (hypophysis, thyroid and adrenal glands) and genital (testis) systems in males having hypopotency, to the changes of homeostasis, hormonal status, manifestation of sexual reflexes, semen quality indices and to the development of diagnostic and therapeutic measures at the above pathology, their approbation and introduction. It has been stated that great morphological and functional changes occur in the endocrine and sexual organs of bulls, bours and dogs having retinol deficient hypоpotency. The above -mentioned changes lead to the decrease in the body weight and in the animal body size. The retinol deficiency leads to the substantial decrease in the activity of sexual reflexes and semen quality of males - bulls, bours and dogs. The volume of ejaculate, sperm concentration and the rate of their mobility reduced but the amount of pathological forms of semen increased.The use of therapeutic three-block programme provide the increase in the content of ?-carotene in the blood serum (12,4 times as much as in bulls), vitamin A in the blood serum (2,58 times as much as in bulls and in 5,81 times in boars) and in the liver - at 68,73 %, the level of testosterone in dogs in 4,9 times, bours - in 5,5 times.
