Pogrebnyak N. Scientific Researches of Students in the System of Higher Education in Great Britain.

Object: system of higher teacher training UK. Purpose: is to determine the nature and historical evolution, features of organization of student’s scientific-research activity and to justify the opportunity of introduction UK features of foreign pedagogical experience of research students in modern conditions of reforming national higher education. Methods - general: analysis and synthesis, analogy, generalization, classification, comparative, and historical research: historiographical analysis, descriptive and analytical, the method of periodization, comparative-historical, retrospective and causal analysis. Scientific novelty: basic stages of research and educational centres in the system of higher education of Britain are investigated the first time in Ukrainian pedagogy, forms of technology and research training of future specialists in English education are found; the content, structure and functions of research activities of students of higher pedagogical education UK are opened. The results of comparative analysis of the current situation of higher pedagogical education UK, Western Europe and the USA are generalized. The basic criteria and levels of research activity for future specialists in the higher teacher training UK are improved. Further development gained insight about the key priorities and trends of scientific-pedagogical schools and research laboratories, universities UK. Results of the research can be used in the learning process of national universities, to develop teaching materials and textbooks for students, development of lectures, special courses and special seminars on theory and history of foreign pedagogy.
