Object of research: course of pregnancy and calving heifers, period after calving and infertility-firstborn cows of different breeds. The purpose of research - to identify the main clinical symptoms, biochemical composition of blood and pathomorphological changes in the genitals and, on the basis of the results, justify and implement prevention methods identified the most common forms of infertility breeds of cows, the firstborn in Zhytomyr. Methods: clinical, biochemical, pathological-anatomical, histological, immunological and statistical. Scientific novelty: The thesis highlights the investigation into the main clinical symptoms and pathomorphological changes in genitals, as well as into the substantiation, probation and introduction of the clinical, symptomatic and pathogenetic prophylaxis of the detected infertility forms in the most spread breeds of first-calf cow under the conditions of Zhytomyr region. We are the first to conduct the investigation into the effect of Cow Min Dry vitamin and mineral additive, Ecosorb 25 micotoxin adsorbent, potassium iodide, fetoplacentatum tissue preparations, metrofetum and Schisandra chinensis oil on the blood biochemical composition, physiological status, heifer calving course, the post-calving period in first-calf cow of Ukrainian black-and-white, red-and-white and Holstein cattle breeds. Feeding heifers on vitamin and mineral addititives, introducing biologically active preparations during the last month of pregnancy stimulates exchange processes in the body, which is corroborated by the blood test results, is accompanied by the increase in the intensity of pains and labors and manifested clinically through reducing the length of the calving and post-calving periods and the course of involution processes in genitals. Under feeding of vitamin-mineral additive "KAU Min DRAI" for pregnant cows of black-motley sort the length of post-delivery grows was shorter for 295 minutes, time from delivery before insemination on 34 day, for pregnant cows of golshtin sorts - for 333 minutes and 36 day accordingly, under adsorbent of mycotoxins "Ekosorb 25" for pregnant cows by alive mass 400 - 450 kgs - for 407 minutes and 29 day accordingly, under calium iodidum for dyed-motley sort for 111 minutes and on 34 day, under butter of schisandra for pregnant cows of dyed-motley sort promotes the reduction of length of post-delivery stage for 179,9 minutes and 30,9 day, and for pregnant cows of black-motley sort - for 157,1 minutes and 37 day accordingly.
