Essay

The thesis is devoted to the investigation of morphological and physiological indexes in the organism of the bitches during the heat and to the development of diagnostics-prognostic tests for the detection of the sexual cycle and optimal time for insemination. It is stated that manifestation of sexual cycle in the bitches of German shepherd breed does not depend on the season. The difference between the length of the right and left uterus horns is revealed. Mucous membrane of the vagina is thicker by the cervix of the uterus and thinner between the vestibulum vagina and the vagina. Muscles are thicker in the middle part of the vestibulum vagina and they are thinner in the middle part of the vagina. Morphological and biochemical blood indexes vary within the physiological values. The dynamics of the epithelial cell structure in the vagina mucous membrane reflects the hormonal status of the bitch's organism. Maximum amplitude of electrical resistance of the vagina mucous membrane is connected with the ovulation. Dynamics of the electric conductivity in the biologically active spots on the skin that reflect bioelectric activity of the uterus and ovaries is connected with morphological and functional changes in bitch genitals during the heat. Application of the vaginal insemination by freshly received sperm in the bitches secures their fertilization in 78,9% cases on condition that it will be used at the optimal time.
