Zhalinska I. Public Health: Estimation Methodology and Politics Grounding.

The dissertation is devoted to the development of theoretical and methodological bases applied to estimation of public health at the regional level according to the modern demands of social policy grounding. The essence of the notion "public health" and "health care" are defined. The degree of development of the methodology of public health estimation and the peculiarities of modern politics in this sphere are analyzed. The theoretical and methodological approaches to the public health estimation at local level are grounded. The system of interconnected components and indicators to the complex estimation of public health as the basis of its regulation at the level of administrative and territorial units are worked out. The estimation of the public health state in Zhytomyr region is performed applying the created information base. The scientific and practical recommendations concerning the application and further development of methodological approaches to the public health estimation at the region level are worked out.
