The dissertation work is devoted to investigation of grape seed oil pharmacological properties and development and research of the combined preparation in the form of cream with grape seed oil and antiseptic. It was determined, that grape seed oil possesses strong anti-inflammatory and reparative activity. It was shown, that grape seed oil is practically nontoxic substance, it does not cause local irritative effect and allergic reaction and also not have antimicrobial activity. The combined preparation is developed in the form of hydrophilic cream, contains grape seed oil and chlorhexidine digluconate. As a result of investigations the developed medicinal product conforms to the medico-biological requirements to preparations for topical treatment of wounds in 2nd and 3th phases of wound process; it possesses reparative action, effective antibacterial and antifungal action, and also moderate osmotic activity.
