Lysenko I. Social Economic and Geopolitical Factors of Ukrainian Lands Development at the End of XIII - XIV Centuries

History of Ukrainian lands development at the end of XIII-XIV centuries, namely a relatively little researched by historiography period and also historical science achievements in this field is viewed in the thesis. The author has gone into a question of the peculiarities of economic, legislative, spiritual and cultural situation of Ukrainian lands in XIV century at large. It is stated that Ukrainian nobility supported Grand Duchy of Lithuania politics. However in contrast to Ukrainian and Belarusian lands which were at the stage of developed feudal system the Lithuanian society was still early feudal. Geopolitical position of Ukrainian lands in the line of Grand Duchy of Lithuania - Orda - Moskovia and the factors which resulted in defeat of prominent Lithuanian Duchies in this struggle (the main of them were simultaneous struggle in several directions and rejection from Christianity) are analyzed. A great role of Kyev, Kievan Legacy government peculiarities, its attractiveness for various dynasties are shown.
