Zagorulko A. Modeling balanced performance metrics for socio-economic systems

The object of research is the socio-economic system of the Ukrainian economy on the micro-, medium-, and macro levels. The research goal is to substantiate theoretical and methodological basics of developing a standard approach to measuring the efficiency of SES with developing economic and mathematical models of indicators for composite multi-level efficiency measuring for these systems. The methods applied are theoretical generalization, abstract and logical method, system approach, methods of analysis and synthesis, and methods of multi-dimensional statistical analysis, econometrics methods, methods of economic and statistical analysis, main statements of the measuring theory, and extrapolation methods. Theoretical and practical results: scientific and practical provisions of the dissertation are on the level of methodological developments and practical recommendations as to realization of the typical approach. The suggested standard approach can be used by heads of the socio-economic systems on various levels of the national economy with the purpose of defining efficiency and balance characteristics for these systems and developing the corresponding managerial decisions. The level of implementation: the research results are implemented in the activities of the Department of Statistics in Sevastopol and of the SE "Livadia" in the form of practical recommendations. The generalized results of the dissertation are components of the research conducted by the modeling and projecting department of the Institute of Economy and Projections of the NAS of Ukraine and the department of management and mathematical methods of the Sevastopol National Technical University within the budget research, and are used in the educational process when teaching the Economic and Mathematical Modeling. The area or industry of implementation: the developed recommendations are designed for the used in socio-economic systems on the micro-, medium-, and macro levels of the Ukrainian Economy.
