Marchenko I. Labour market infrastructure and guidelines of its improvement

The dissertation aimed at investigation of theoretical and methodical bases of labour market infrastructure, the features of Ukrainian labour market infrastructure functioning are defined, the main challenges and tendencies of LMI’s modern development are indicated. The guidelines of improvement of Ukrainian LMI’s functioning are developed. The definition of “labour market infrastructure” is improved, strategical goals of its functioning are defined and general characteristics of labour market intermediaries’ functioning are presented. The methodological approaches to the LMI’s analysis are investigated, the four-level analysis system is developed, which gives possibility for complex estimation of LMI’s functioning. The analysis of forming and functioning features of the Ukrainian LMI system is carried out, also public and private subsystems studied deeply. The challenges of the world financial-economic crisis to the labour market are identified and key factors which influence on LMI modern development are analyzed. The guidelines of Ukrainian LMI subsequent development are developed.
