Essay

The object of the research is professional activity of the officials of the State Customs Service of Ukraine. The goal of the research is the substantiation of theoretical and methodological basis of the diagnostic and development of the social-psychological competence of the officials of the State Customs Service of Ukraine. Methods of the investigation are the following: analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, dialectical approach, structural and functional analysis, social and cultural approach, activity approach, questioning of the experts, psychological diagnostic, mathematic and statistic methods. The scientific novelty of the results is the following: the technology of the social-psychological competence development of the officials of the State Customs Service of Ukraine is devised and theoretical supported; the conditions of the social-psychological competence development of the officials of the State Customs Service of Ukraine are devised taking into consideration the World Customs organization Professional Standards; there are improved theoretical approaches to the professional activity determination of the officials of the State Customs Service of Ukraine as a socionomic profession and determination of the social-psychological competence content in the context of activity approach; the conceptual set in the sphere of Public administration, in particular the definition of such concepts as: "social-psychological competence", "competence", "professional competence" and psychological set of instruments for the diagnostic of the professional important qualities of the officials of the State Customs Service of Ukraine are developed
