Kutovoi R. Patriotic education of cadets of higher educational establishments of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the educational process

The thesis is devoted to the complex theoretical and methodological analysis of students of higher educational institutions of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine patriotic education and to the substantiation of pedagogical conditions in which it will be effective. The theoretical footing, content and distinctive features of students' patriotic education in the educational process of higher education institutions of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine are elucidated. The thesis contains research of the concept of patriotism and patriotic education. Author's definitions of these concepts are set forth taking into account specific of the university of MIA of Ukraine and the future law enforcement activity of cadets. The process of educating the patriotic qualities of cadets as part of their professional training is analyzed by the author. The structure of agency of internal affairs officer's patriotism is determined. The criteria and indicators for patriotic education are developed The effectiveness of patriotic education is grounded and experimentally proved in such conditions: activization of history and traditions of the agencies of internal affairs using in the educational process as a basis for the content of patriotic education; adoption into the educational process the interactive technology of patriotic images presentation; optimization of the patriotic education of the cadets by shaping a feeling of loyalty to the professional duty and oath as an integrative professionally important qualities of the person by means of orthodox pedagogics.
