Essay

The topicality of the research is determined by the increasing number of academic works focusing on the notion of idiostyle as the foundation of author's inimitability. Different aspects of idiostyle have been studied by a number of renowned scholars, among them N.Fateyeva, Yu.Karaulov, D.Lihachev, Yu.Lotman, I.Tarasova. The issues of reproducing idiostyle as the dominant feature of the author's creative originality have been so far "underresearched" in translation studies, so the suggested approach seems to be perspective.
