Essay

The dissertation is dedicated to studying morphogenesis of the skeletal bones in adult rats after implantation of the manganese enhanced hydroxyapa-tite implants into the proximal part of the tibia diaphysis. Using modern mor-phological research methods we proved that hydroxyapatite implants lead to decrease of bone growth rate, narrowing of the proximal epiphyseal cartilages and the layers of diaphyses of humerus, decrease of primary spongiosa share and percentage of the osteogenic cells within osteogenesis areas, diminishing of osteon diameter with consequent increase of osteon canal diameter, hyper-hydration and demineralization and chemical contents imbalance, ultrastruc-tural destabilization of the bone mineral and strength decrease. We proved that manganese enhanced hydroxyapatite implants level negative alterations of the bone morphogenesis after tibia plastics. Optimum manganese concen-tration constitutes 0.25%.
