Object - university education in Germany; aim - to analyse organizational and pedagogical transformations in university education in Germany of the second part of XX century in order to define the efficient ways for modernization of the teaching process in universities of Ukraine considering successful reforms in university education in Germany; methods - general scientific, historical, comparative; novelty - the research has been the first one to provide a generalized analysis of the process of university education reforms in Germany in the second part of XX century; the sources of the university education development in Germany are characterized; organizational and pedagogical transformation stages in university education in Germany during the period under research are substantiated; the peculiarities of reforms in universities of FRG, GDR and present day FRG within the defined periods are singled out; the university education reform tendencies in Germany of the researched period and efficient ways for the modernization of the teaching process in universities of Ukraine are determined; results - the materials of the research are used in the teaching process of higher educational establishments; the theoretical material and factual data deserve to be considered for reforming higher educational establishments of Ukraine and may be used in teaching history of Pedagogy and Comparative pedagogy; field - pedagogy
