Shabinskii M. Civic education of pupils in primary schools of France.

The dissertation is devoted to problems of civic education and upbringing in primary schools in France. The genesis of scientific outlooks of French researchers concerning the development of the idea of civic upbringing in history of pedagogic of France has been enlightened and analyzed. Modern theoretical bases of French civic education and upbringing in primary schools has been analyzed, its essence, aims and principles has been outlined. Content, forms and methods of civic upbringing in primary schools has been enlightened. A peculiarity of civic upbringing in educational process has been determined. The ways of realization of extra-curricula activity of primary school pupils in the field of civic upbringing has been considered. The French experience of fostering civic qualities in pupils of primary schools in families has been generalized. Possibilities of using of the revealed positive French experience in the field of civic upbringing in primary schools of Ukraine have been determined.
