Essay

This thesis presents a theoretical basis and a new decision science applied problem of modeling of advertising expenditures and company's sales. The analysis of the main methods of forming an advertising budget of the company is done. The use of mathematical models on the basis of logistic curves for the solving of many economic problems is proven. The economic-mathematical model of the advertising costs is formed, subject to profit maximization is developed, but also the optimal profitability for advertising costs is investigated. Mathematical models of forming of advertising costs for the meat-packing plants of the Poltava region are built, parameters of logistic functions and functions of profitability are investigated.
