Essay

In our studies in vitro and on the model of intracerebral hemorrhage were found that pharmacotherapy of mitochondrial disorders by cerebrocurin, cerebrolisin, semax and cortexin significantly (p<0.05) stimulates energy production in brain. This is expressed in the increase in the content of a number of intermediates of the energy metabolism of glucose, pyruvate, succinate, isocitrat, malate) in the brain tissue, and also increase in the activity of dehydrogenases of pentosophosphate shunt. About decrease the share of anaerobic glycolysis is significant (p<0.05) pointed decrease of the level of lactic acid in the brain. The most expressed energotrope action showed cerebrocurin (150mkl/kg) and cortexin (160 mkl/kg). 21-day treatment of rats with intracerebral hemorrhage promotes the gradual disappearance of the significant differences between animals with model of pathology and false surgery rats, which indicates active recovery mitochondrial energy production and cerebral metabolism in general. The changes of the energy exchange correlate with the normalization of oxidant-antioxidant balance in ischemia area of the brain, which is manifested in the significant (p<0.05) reduction of oxidative stress.
