Stetsko I. Educating Senior Pupils in Altruism.

In the dissertation the state of investigation of the problem in Ukrainian and foreign pedagogical science is analysed; the essence of basic сomponents of the concept "altruism" is exposed and grounded; and the criteria (gnosеological, subjectively-personal, processually-active), criterion indexes and levels of altruism education (high, sufficient, average, low) of modern senior pupils are defined; pedagogical principles (humanisation of education process of senior pupils by means of solving socially important problems; the combination of different forms and methods of classwork and extracurricular activity with senior pupils to involve them in altruistic activity; educational equipment for the preparation of teachers to altruism education of senior pupils), which promote the optimization of the process of educating senior pupils in altruism of educational establishments are grounded and experimentally approved; the experimental model of altruism education (theoretical, diagnostic and functionally-informative соmponents) is developed and approved.
