The thesis is dedicated to the study of hypolipidemic properties of salts 2-(4-R-5-R1-4H-1,2,4-triazole-3-ylthio)acetic acids, 4-R-5-R1-4H-1,2,4-triazole-3-thiones and their derivatives under experimental hyperlipidemia. It has been showin that the compounds studied have hypocholesterolemic, hypotriglyceridemic, hypo-?-lipoproteinemic, antiatheromatous and antioxidant properties. As a result of pharmacologic screening we revealed monoethanolammonium 2-(4-methyl-4H-1,2,4-triazole-3-ylthio)acetate, wich wasn’t inferior in force to widely used comparison preparations. As a result of “structure – pharmacologic action” analysis it was established that availability and efficacy of hypolipidemic and antioxidant action defends on the character of substitute on 1,2,4-triazole molecule nucleus. The average effective dose (57,92 mg/kg) was estimated, acute toxicity of monoethanolammonium 2-(4-methyl-4H-1,2,4-triazole-3-ylthio)acetate (LD50 5167,57 mg/kg in intraperitoneal injection) was studied. Experimental data give grounds to consider monoethanolammonium 2-(4-methyl-4H-1,2,4-triazole-3-ylthio)acetate as a potential hypolipidemic and antiatherosclerotic remedy.
