Gorozhankina N. Territorial and interim analysis of the regional educational system (Dnipropetrovsk region is given as an example)

The dissertation is revealed on the theoretical and methodological foundations of the socio-geographical study of the regional educational system. The essence of the concepts of "regional educational system", "intellectual potential of the region's population", "educational potential of the region's population" is refined in terms of social geography. The periodization of formation and development of the regional educational system of Dnipropetrovsk region for the period since 1782 to 2010 is founded and covered. Development of regional educational system under the influence of various factors on the example of the processes of birth rate and international intellectual migration is analyzed. An analysis of the current state of the regional educational system of Dnipropetrovsk region is held, the dynamics of its major subsystems for the period from 2000/01 to 2009/10 academic years is reflected. Socio-geographic features of Dnipropetrovsk region and the results of modeling the trajectory of the subsystems of preschool and secondary education of the educational component of the district sociogeosystem in the multidimensional normalized space are detected. A project of the regional thematic atlas "Education in Dnipropetrovsk region: past and present" is developed in the electronic version.
