The thesis is devoted to the problem of gender education of secondary school pupils in physical education lessons. The analyzes of philosophical, pedagogical and psychological literature on the issue of gender education is presented in the dissertation. The essence and characteristics of gender education of secondary school pupils are disclosed. The main criteria, indicators and levels of gender education of boys and girls in physical education lessons are defined. The state of gender training of primary school pupils in practice of giving physical culture lessons is analyzed. In the research pedagogical conditions of gender education of pupils of primary school were justified and put in physical education classes of general education for the first time. Efficiency of pedagogical conditions of gender education of secondary school pupils in physical education lessons were proved experimentally.
