The dissertation is devoted to the problem of education college students' self-esteem in the educational activities. The paper analyzes the philosophical, psychological and pedagogical aspects of the investigated problem. It specifies the essence and structure of education of self-esteem in college students. It develops criteria, indicators and levels of breeding self-esteem in college students. The conditions of teaching self-esteem of college students in educational activities are determined, substantiated and experimentally verified. They are as follows use of educational potential of courses; educational extracurricular activities, psychological and pedagogical support of students, training of student groups' tutors to educate college students' self-esteem, stimulation of self-upbringing.
