Shilnikova Z. The influence of social and demographic, economic and global information processes on the functioning of the Labor Market

The object of study: process of labor market functioning. The aim of study: scientific justification of ways to improve the labor market functioning taking into account socio-demographic, economic, globalization and informational processes. Methods of study: dialectical method of scientific cognition; methods of system-structural analysis of economic processes; abstracting; statistical methods; generalization and comparison. The practical significance of results lays in the fact that the main provisions of dissertation were used in the work of Labor and Social Policy Office, as well as in the activities of Lugansk City Council. Scientific novelty of results lies in fact that it was the first time when the influence of globalization and informational factors onto the labor market functioning was defined and justified. Were implemented: the integrated (package) approach referring to the state migration policy implementation; priorities of labor market modernization; the system of labor force demand and supply forecasting. Further developments have got: the process of modern trends of production globalization studying; new types and forms of employment as a result of structural changes; ways to use the potential capabilities of Ukrainian employment service in the direction of workplace and employee selection, payment of unemployment benefit ruling by orders and decrees, and initiation of unemployed to active programs.
