Essay

The thesis grounds the reasonability of metabolic means appliance: polymicroelemental drug marepolimiel, cysteine, ascorbic acid, for the prevention and treatment of toxic lesions of the retina and visual cortex. In comparative analysis was investigated the pharmacodynamics of marepolimiel, cysteine and ascorbic acid influence on intact retina and visual cortex, reflecting the specificity of their action. It was ascertained that the duration of pharmacological effect when applicating drugs is increasing in the following order: ascorbic acid (up to 3-5 days) – cysteine (up to 5-7 days) – marepolimiel (7-10 days), and expressibility is reversible. Cytophotometrically was shown that the course taking of marepolimiel, cysteine and ascorbic acid increases the metabolic stability of the retina and visual cortex to damaging influence of monobromatsetat and actinomycin D, which results in the removal of plastic and energy shortages and illustrates the increase in nonspecific resistance of cellular structures of visual analysis. The investigation has shown that in terms of numbers more pronounced protective and reactivative effect has ascorbic acid. However, in terms of duration, from all the medical products the leading place belongs to marepolimiel. Cysteine possessed an intermediate position in terms of duration as well as the expression of pharmacological actions. Reactivative effect of investigated metabolic means was more pronounced than the protective one.
