Essay

The object of the research is the aesthetic education of schoolchildren in China and Japan; the subject of the research is the pedagogical traditions of aesthetic culture of personality formation of the peoples of China and Japan; the peculiarities of their application in modern school education; the research aim consists of implementation of holistic analysis of pedagogical traditions of aesthetic culture of personality formation in China and Japan, exposure of tendencies of their application in modern practice of schools of these countries; the methods of research: searching methods of selection, systematization and classification of scientific literature and historical sources, comparatively-historical method, problem and structural methods in their unity, and comparison, generalization of pedagogical advanced experience and systematization of experience of aesthetic education organization by the Chinese and Japanese teachers, the scientific novelty of the executed dissertation work lies in the fact that for the first time in the domestic pedagogical science the pedagogical traditions of Chinese and Japanese peoples in the context of aesthetic culture of personality formation are analyzed; the well-established content, means and forms of aesthetic education of children and youth in China and Japan were defined; the essence and structure of personality aesthetic culture, the row of basic factors of formation of traditional pedagogical ideas were specified; the place of different social institutes in the withstand process of formation the aesthetic culture of personality in these countries; taking into account the national pedagogical experience the position concerning the efficiency of organization of aesthetic education got further development.
