Object - the educational process in Ukrainian secondary schools in the second half of the twentieth century; the mission - the systematization of theoretical ideas and the generalization of the experience of forming economic knowledge in Ukrainian general schools in the second half of the twentieth century to improve the educational process in secondary schools; methods - the historical, general scientific, comparative, chronological; novelty - the that for the first time in the chosen chronological periods the contribution of domestic teachers is defined in justification of the place and the part of economic knowledge in the secondary education structure of Ukrainian school (elementary, middle, high); the phases of problem development are motivated; experience of using economic knowledge is summarized as well as conditions of its implementation efficiency (scientific and methodical training of teachers; formation of the creative environment in the school; generalization of foreign experience of economic education and its critical applying); the results can be used in training of special courses and seminars, drafting textbooks, handbooks, guidelines for students in educational institutions; field - pedagogy
