Object: higher education of European countries; aim: to reveal the main points and features of integration processes, which stipulated the forming of new European model of higher education, to forecast the possibilities of introduction of European experience for modernization of native higher school in conditions of euro integration; methods: dialectical, hermeneutical, anthropological, comparative, historical, comparative, axiomatic, generalization, systematization; novelty: it is grounded the main stages of development of integration processes in Western Europe on the basis of change of society’s type, in which the forming of organizational and content structures of integrated European space of higher education is made; it is revealed the peculiarities of main educational models (French, Anglo-Saxon and German); it is marked out and characterized the priority trends of modernization of higher education content
