In the thesis for the first time in Ukrainian philosophical science was made the analysis of theoretical and practical problems of ethno-cultural factors of Ukraine's eco-safety development. Ethno-cultural factors are founded, such as traditions of nature conservancy (farming, cattle) that were characterized with eco-phility; system of ethnic symbols (symbols of bread, land, water, fire, amulets, flora and fauna) that represent a certain environment in its original life-giving meaning.
