Essay

The scientific research paper is dedicated to the problem of gender-oriented approach to training and education of pupils in public schools of the USA. Foreign and Ukrainian scientific literature on the subject of gender and gender approach in the process of education has been analyzed; the essence of basic concepts has been defined. For a logical justification of a gender approach to the training and education of gender different students in public institutions of secondary education in the USA, the historical and genetic analysis of the formation and development of a gender-oriented approach to the training and education of middle school students of America has been held. Historical stages of its periodization have been substantiated. The useful implementation of gender-segregated education is grounded, the process of education and training in gender-separate schools in the USA is described. The possibility of the creative implementation of leading innovative ideas, technologies and experience of gender segregated education for pupils in the process of reflection and improvement of the secondary education in Ukraine is explicated.
