Research object: the process of productivity assessment of present-day economic systems of the region and the country; the purpose of the work: design a complex of mathematical economic models and improve methods of assessment and productivity analysis of economic systems of the region and the country in modern market conditions and lack of statistical information; research methods and instruments: structural and logical analysis, methods of systemic, comparative and statistical analysis, methods in theory of non-negative matrices, methods of economic-mathematical modeling; theoretical and practical results: a complex of "input-output" models of the region, which, unlike existing, are built using the hypothetico-deductive method, which involves a combination of regional statistical data reporting and indirect acquisition of data on which there is no method of calculation on the regional level; methods for assessing the productivity of modern economic systems which thanks to the use balance "input-output" models allow to acquire a generalized coefficient of productivity and to determine the effects of the final results of operation of enterprises and institutions of various kinds of economic activity on its formation; methods of evaluating the effectiveness of socio-economic development, which, in contrast to known, presuppose supplementation of existing synthetic indicators generalized evaluation of productivity that reflects the effectiveness and balance of functioning of the relevant sectors of a certain economic system; some conceptual positions of evaluation and productivity analysis of economic systems of the region and the country, which unlike existing approaches involve the use of balance approaches, namely static input-output models, and allow for in-depth analysis of the sensitivity, which helps to identify the significance of the impact of changing the values of technological coefficients in individual industries on the overall assessment of productivity; information-analytical system of evaluation of productivity of the regional and the country economy on the basis of research of direct costs matrices different of level aggregation, which unlike existing systems involves the use of combined numerical methods of Le Verrier and Newton and can increase the speed and accuracy of calculations; subject and degree of introduction: the developments are implemented in practice in the Department of Economics of Kirovohrad Regional State Administration, the Department of Statistics in Kirovohrad Region, KNTU in teaching the subjects "Economic-mathematical methods and models", "Economic Cybernetics"; sphere of the use: governance and statistics, educational process.
