The thesis explores the problem of moral education of the primary school children with the help of the Ukrainian folklore in the extracurricular educational institutions. For the first time it gives ground for the technology of moral education of the primary school children with the help of the Ukrainian folklore in the extracurricular educational institutions (moral qualities, moral-ethic knowledge, skills and abilities, moral norms; components and criteria of the moral politeness; forms and methods of moral upbringing; devices; final result); it determines the pedagogical conditions for the effectiveness of the suggested technology (organization of the moral upbringing based on the person oriented approach, humanization, dialogue interaction of education and upbringing subjects, national character of the upbringing material, ethnicity and multi-cultural aspect; formation of the moral upbringing contents as value-oriented activity of the upbringing process subjects; implementation of the complex of forms, methods and devices of the Ukrainian folklore into the moral upbringing process, created taking in account age, motivation and necessity, and ethno cultural peculiarities of the primary school children). It improves contents characteristics of the notion and categorical apparatus of the research (moral politeness and moral upbringing); the characteristics of the components, criteria, indicators and levels of the moral politeness of the primary school children with the help of the Ukrainian folklore
