Essay

The dissertation is devoted to studying and generalization of the experience of forming in a growing generation ecological awareness in schools of one of the most developed countries in Europe.-Federal Republic of Germany (FRG). On the basis of a thoroughly done study and analysis of a great number of literary sources devoted to problems of developing ecological awareness in the youth of a school age the concept "ecological awareness" was enlightened; its etymology and semantics was investigated, methodological foundations of theory and practice of forming ecological awareness was revealed; modern conceptions of its realization in accordance with national traditions and progress in the field of environmental education of a growing generation in school taking into account decisions and recommendations which were approved by an international pedagogical community at a summoned special seminars and conferences by an active support of OON and its specialized structures were discovered; a main goal, a content and educational technologies of its realization in teaching-learning process in school and out of doors activity was revealed; an interaction of school and family in developing ecologically awared citizens of Germany was shown.
