Essay

The thesis deals with the study of the influence of paratypical factors (high temperature, group and individual housing of suckling piglets in the suckling period, different volume of area per a head, the use of different sources of optical irradiation) on the interior and productive indices of the piglets from birth to the age of 120 days. The effect of high temperatures (32,7 - 34,3 0 C) on the piglets of Large White swines and Large White and Landras swine breed crosses as well as Landras, Durok and Pyetren swines on the indices of bactericidal activity of blood serum, lysosomic activity of blood serum, phagocytic activity of neutrophils, phagocytic index and the animal growth and development has been studied. It has been stated that swines of Large White breed and the crosses of Large White and Landras swines are more adapted to high temperatures. At the group housing of suckling piglets no reduction of average daily weight gains was revealed when the piglets reached 10 days old and less minus variants by 2,8 % were registered among them. The piglets that were reared in the pens having 6,0 and 4,5 m3 per a head developed in cold season practically similar to the piglets that were kept in the pens of 10,0 and 7,5m3 per a head. The use of the device SAI-2 (the system of animal irradiation) that is the source of infra-red and ultra-violet irradiation promotes the stimulation of humoral and cellular values of natural resistance, decrease in bacterial contamination of the air and increase in the preservation of piglets.
