Object: preparing of schoolchildren for accomplishing of parental duties as a component of theory and methods of education. Aim: find out specific features of content and organizing of schoolchildren preparing for accomplishing of parental duties in school and out-of-school practicein Germany and define opportunities for positive use of foreign experience in educational system of Ukraine. Practical significance: conclusions and recommendations have been used for developing content, forms and methods of educational process in Ukrainian secondary schools. Methods: interpretational and analytical, theoretical, retrospective and comparative analysis .
