Vlasov G. Formation of Healthy Lifestyle of the Students of Medical Schools by means of Physical Education

The thesis is aimed to create an effective pedagogical technique to form healthy lifestyle of the students of medical schools. The scientific research provides theoretical and methodological rationale for the importance of physical education in various kinds of motion activity while organizing the classes of physical education in higher school; the criteria of evaluating the levels of healthy lifestyle formation are improved; the concepts of healthy lifestyle of medical students and creation of the conditions that make the students acquire the values of healthy lifestyle, of the forms and methods of creating willingness of the students to apply the principles of healthy lifestyle in everyday life and professional activity are developed; the theoretical basis concerning the peculiarities of medical school students' physical conditions is enlarged. The results of the scientific research found practical application in the developed and approved specialty course "Healthy Lifestyle in Value System of a Medical Establishment Worker" and information web-site "Health for You" which is an integral part of the introduced pedagogical technique.
