Manashchuk N. Clinical efficacy of combined use of antiseptics and immunomodulator in periodontal diseases treatment of patients with chronic colitis of various etiology

The dissertation has been devoted to the studying of the effectiveness of combined antiseptics and immunomodulator use in periodontal diseases treatment of patients with chronic colitis of various etiology. The clinical observations of persons with chronic colitis showed a high prevalence of periodontal diseases among them, namely 84.93% of the patients, which manifested by catarrhal gingivitis (63.02%) and generalized periodontitis (21.91%). During the clinical trials was established that standard pharmacotherapy of periodontal diseases among these groups of patients does not provide sufficient clinical effect and long-term of stable remission. But combined use of antiseptic furasol and immunomodulator Nukleinat leads to the disappearance of the inflammatory symptoms, improvement of hygiene and periodontal indices, and restoring the normal microflora of the gingival and periodontal pockets. The proposed drugs combination positively affects the local immune defenses of oral cavity such as a cellular a humoral links of immunity. Clinically was founded that using of antiseptic furasol and immunomodulator Nukleinat in general pharmacotherapy of catarrhal gingivitis and generalized periodontitis provides stable and prolonged remission. And by the end, it was clinically proved the safety of proposed combination of these drugs.
