Makotsoba M. Progress in human development of regions of Ukraine: measurement methodology and mechanism of assurance.

The thesis is devoted to the development of theoretical, methodological and applied principles of measurement and assurance of progress in human development. The research methodology of the progress in human development of the regions of Ukraine was proposed and tested. The author developed the organizational and technological model of the system for monitoring the status and progress of human development in the regions of Ukraine. The basic priorities, methods and measures of regional socio-economic policy in the context of human development were justified. The author defined higher-priority tasks for improving the organizational and economic mechanism to ensure progress in human development.
