Pozdniakova A. «Pharmacological study of Tilia cordata (lime) blossoms extract as anti-ulcer medicine»

The thesis of Pozdniakova A.Yu. is devoted to the study of pharmacological anti-ulcer activity of polyphenolic complex of lime blossoms and syrup based on it. There was carried out the pharmacological screening of three extracts of Tilia cordata, such as polyphenolic, lipophilic and polysaccharide. The most powerful anti-ulcer effect had polyphenolic complex of lime blossoms. It was found that polyphenolic complex of Tilia cordata does not affect the motor function but inhibits secretory function of the gastrointestinal tract in average of 38 %. The polyphenolic complex of lime blossoms and syrup based on it have anti-ulcer effect in preventive, curative and preventive-treatment regimen of drugs administration, which gives an opportunity to use these substances in case of prophylactic or treatment of a disease. Both experimental medicines from lime blossoms decrease gastrotoxicity of NSAIDs that is not inferior to altan. This effect allows recommending polyphenolic complex of lime blossoms and syrup based on it as correctors of NSAIDs-induced gastropathys, caused by indomethacin, diclofenac and aspirin.
