Tymchyk M. Patriotic Education of Senior Teenagers in the Process of Sports-Work.

The dissertation research is dedicated to the problem of patriotic education of senior teenagers in the process of sports-mass work. The condition of examining the problem of patriotic education in psichology-pedagogical literature is analyzed in the dissertation; the essence of the term "patriotic education of senior teenagers" is specified. The patriotic education of senior teenagers is formation of patriotic consciousness, loyalty, responsibility for actions, preparedness to protect interests of native school, locality of Ukraine, respects for famous fellow-countrymen, national traditions of pupil's of 7-9 forms. The experience of general schools concerning to the education of senior teenagers in the process of sports-mass work is studied. The criteria, indices and levels of patriotic education of senior teenagers in the process of sports-mass work are characterized. The contents forms and methods of patriotic education of senior teenagers in the process of sports-mass work in general schools are defined.Their effectiveness is experimentally tested.
