Object: the formation of ethical competence of future social workers; the aim: a theoretical justification of ethical competence of future social workers, development and experimental testing of pedagogical conditions for the formation of ethical competence of future social workers in higher education; the methods: analysis of scientific literature, comparative historical analysis, the chronological method, the method of generalization, comparing and ordering, pedagogical supervision, questionnaires, individual and group interviews, testing, pedagogical experiment, the method of peer review, modeling, statistical methods; the novelty: pedagogical conditions of formation of ethical competence of future social workers have been defined, theoretically grounded and experimentally tested, the results: the course "Ethics of social-pedagogical activities" and the appropriate training and methodological support have been developed and implemented in the educational process; branch – social pedagogy.
