Essay

The thesis is devoted to the research of genre and stylistic conditionality of lexical transformations in translation of the texts of military subject area based on Spanish and Ukrainian official and literary texts. The inter-genre and comparative inter-stylistic translation analysis of lexical transformations in the texts of military subject area has been conducted. Subject areas of texts where they are manifested by lexical items are used as a basis for mentioned analysis as well as the criteria for the empirical corpus formation. Extralinguistic communication factors of translation have been analyzed. The totality of these factors is connected on the basis of the addressee factor in two models of the translation situations. The definition of "a text of military subject area" has been formulated and its relationship with military texts which are the object of military translation has been defined. A comparative analysis of style and genre features of the translation of official and literary texts of military topics has been conducted.
