Essay

The lexical analysis has revealed the ways of increasing Belgian French vocabulary, namely loanwords (wallonisms, flandricisms etc.), preservation of archaisms and introduction of neologisms. It has been established that introduction of neologisms is the main way to increase Belgian French vocabulary. A comparative analysis of the French language in France and the French language in Belgium vocalism and consonantism has been performed. Graphemes and orphograms in belgicisms hаve been compared with their French equivalents, which has allowed us to determine the main differences in phonetic and graphical systems of both languages.
