Сhоrniy N. Clinical study of combined usage of the oral antiseptic and hepatoprotector in the treatment of periodontal disease on the background of chronic pancreatitis

A thesis is devoted to the improvement of diagnosis and combined treatment of periodontal diseases in patients with chronic pancreatitis. The prevalence and peculiarities of periodontal diseases in patients with chronic pancreatitis were studied. High prevalence of periodontal diseases (75,5 %), in patients with chronic pancreatitis was revealed in a clinical observation, that show the development of inflammatory and inflammatory-dystrophic lesions of its tissues. The single use of basic therapy medications is insufficient and ineffective. The scheme of combined treatment in patients with periodontal diseases on the background of chronic pancreatitis was developed. Its supposed that in addition to the traditional base pharmacotherapy of chronic pancreatitis, chronic catarrhal gingivitis and chronic generalized periodontitis, medicine of local action (2 tab. 3 times per day, during 14 days) - antiseptic septofit and medication of immunocorrective and antioxidant action – antral (1 tab. 3 times per day, during 30 days) were added. Combined treatment with septofit and antral have positive influence on the clinical signs of periodontal tissues and oral hygine in patients with periodontal pathology associated with chronic pancreatitis. Also its improves peroxidation of lipids, anti-oxidant defense and changes the contamination of periodontal pockets by clinically significantly migroorganisms, that provides a return to a normocoenosis.
