Essay

The object: historical discourse formation of the educational system of the Jewish ethnic group in Ukraine, the purpose: on the basis of complex application of systems, phenomenological, cultural and synergistic approaches to identify trends in development of the Jewish ethnic education in Ukraine from late 19th to early 21th centuries; methods: a comparative historical analysis, system-genetic analysis, the method of hermeneutic interpretation; system-historical analysis, typology, periodization, systematization, analysis of scientific sources, pedagogical periodicals, product of pedagogical activity, comparative analysis, statistical analysis, ranking, the method of accounting ethnodemographic factors, interviews, questionnaires, and content analysis, expert panel, SWOT-analysis, extrapolation of trends; scenarios; novelty: for the first time studied holistic development of Jewish education as a social and cultural phenomenon in the subject field of Ukrainian Jewish Studies, conducted a structural analysis of the Jewish ethno-national education in Ukraine at the micro, meso and macro levels, defined periods of formation of Jewish Education in Ukraine, which covers the whole period of stay of the Jews in our state, has five stages in the development of Jewish education in Ukraine from late 19th to early 21th centuries, for each stage set goals and objectives of education, the tendencies of Jewish education in the Ukraine during the study period: the emergence of private educational institutions of a new type with public rights, reform of the traditional forms of education of Jews secularization of educational content and the transition to learning the Russian language, pre-school and vocational education; idishizatsiya and indigenization; clotting network of Jewish schools in the 1930s., the destruction of Jewish education in the Holocaust and policies State anti-Semitism in the postwar period, the emergence of "cultural trends" (mid-1970s), a network of natural formal and informal educational institutions since the mid-1980s., the formation of non-state sector of education, the introduction of state educational standards and standardized training plans, refined set of concepts "traditional Jewish education" and "the Jewish ethno-national education" in a broad and narrow sense, further developed the conceptual model of the study of modern Jewish education in the Diaspora, it is set per component (tree of goals, objectives, functions), leading approaches to the formation of educational content: ethnocultural, religious, and technological; the results of the research can be used in the strategies of the educational policy of Jewish communities of Ukraine and post-Soviet States in the development of ethnic and national education of minority ethnic groups; in the formation of ethno-cultural component of education in Jewish educational institutions in the system of professional training and retraining of teachers of the Jewish schools and kindergartens; with a view to the implementation of the horizontal relations Jewish institutions and communities, the control by the state bodies for education management; area: general pedagogy and the history of pedagogy.
