Essay

The thesis analyses the religious component of the content of secondary education in France. The research presents a retrospective review of secularism as educational ideology of the French Republic. The thesis found it essential to show the transformation of increasing multicultural French society, the intensification of integration processes in Europe and the development of religious component in the public sector of secondary education in France. The content and methodological principles of religious component in French colleges and high schools are analyzed. The comparative analysis of pedagogical approaches to implementing the religious component in the schools of Ukraine and France is made.
