In the dissertation, on the basis of native and foreign experience research, the state of the problem of moral upbringing of junior schoolchildren by means of the Crimean Tatar people's ethnopedagogy is analyzed. The specific character of moral upbringing of Crimean Tatar junior schoolchildren is uncovered, the essences of the concepts "moral breeding", "ethnopedagogical means of the Crimean Tatar people" are identified. The criteria, indices, levels of moral breeding are defined. The ethnopedagogical means of the Crimean Tatar people are systematized and the ways of their implementation into the educational process of primary school are determined. Pedagogical conditions of moral upbringing of Crimean Tatar junior schoolchildren are theoretically substantiated and experimentally tested.
