Essay

In the dissertation the author traces the genesis of formation approaches of foreign and national scientists to the problem of teacher-philologists' professional competence development. The structure and the content of teacher-philologist's professional competence are defined. The state of current practice is analyzed, the ways of content improvement of Postgraduate Education Institutions management system of teacher-philologists' professional competence development within the attestation period are defined. The management system model of teacher-philologists' professional competence development within the attestation period is established and experimentally tested. Positive dynamics of teacher-philologists' professional competence development within the attestation period allows us to offer the developed model for the use in Postgraduate Education Institutions. Methodical recommendations on the implementation of the management system model of teacher-philologists' professional competence development within the attestation period in a teaching practice are developed.
