The thesis is devoted to finding substance in a number of 22 new amidated derivatives (2-oxoindoliniliden-3)-2-oxiacetic acid as a potential drug for prostate disorders treatment. It was experimentally established "structure-activity" relations and selected the most active substance, which was called "Oksiprost". On experimental modesl of acute bacterial prostatitis and prostate hyperplasia was found that oksiprost in ED50 = 18 mg/kg can reduce inflammation in the prostate gland, increases testosterone levels and lowers DHT. It was proved that oksiprost refers to VI toxicity class according to the classification of K. K. Sidorov, that is a relatively harmless substance. First it was established the wide range of pharmacological effects of oksiprost: anti-exudative, analgesic, antimicrobial, antioxidant, antiplatelet.
